Children's Future Society (CFS) was delighted to support the 2025 Corrections Day / Barnabas Museba Inmates Inter-Region Tournament, hosted by the Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) at the Showgrounds Main Arena in Lusaka under the theme:
"One Service, Many Strengths: Advancing Corrections Through Industry, Agriculture and Sports."
The tournament brought together inmates from different regions across the country to participate in football and netball games, fostering teamwork, rehabilitation and sportsmanship. Through such events, ZCS continues to demonstrate that sports can play a vital role in promoting discipline, confidence and social reintegration.
CFS commends the Zambia Correctional Service for its innovative and inclusive approach to rehabilitation, resettlement and reintegration.
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting correctional and reformatory initiatives, CFS proudly sponsored trophies for the best football team, best netball team and the Player of the Match award.
This partnership reflects our shared belief in second chances and the power of meaningful rehabilitation to transform lives. By investing in programs that build skills, confidence and community, we are helping to create pathways for inmates to rebuild their futures and contribute positively to society.
