Education Scholarship Program
Providing educational scholarships to children with incarcerated parents to ensure they can continue their studies.
View ProjectChildren's Future Society (CFS) is a Non-profit Organization founded by Dorothy Nikoma to provide holistic educational support and essential basic care to children made vulnerable by the imprisonment of their parents/guardians.
In Zambia, according to the 2017 Zambia Correctional Services Annual Report, there were about 25,000 inmates nationwide, with 70% being youths without proper education, 85% involved in poverty-related offenses, and 69% leaving behind more than one child at the time of arrest. This means over 25,000 children were vulnerable and in need of special care, especially education, healthcare, and shelter.
Our goal is to support 23,000 vulnerable children per year, providing them with opportunities to achieve their dreams and have equal life opportunities despite their circumstances.
